Message * Dear Friend, Decade of Discovery: A Minnesota Partnership to Conquer Diabetes is led by the Minnesota Partnership (a research collaboration between Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota.) The goal of the initiative is to prevent, optimally treat and ultimately cure diabetes in the next 10 years. I recently signed up to join the Decade of Discovery community to show my support for the goal. More than 288,000 Minnesotans currently have diabetes and more than 92,000 12-19 year olds in Minnesota have prediabetes. That means more than 1 in 3 adults and 1 in 6 youth in Minnesota are impacted by the disease.
